280g self raising flour
150g Brew Flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp bread soda
2 tblspn caster sugar
60g of melted butter
400ml of butter milk
1 egg beaten
mix of seeds (optional)
Preheat over to 185C/365F/gas mark 5.
Grease heavy based pot (with lid) with butter to prevent bread from sticking.
Sieve self raising flour, baking powder, bread soda into a large bowl. Add Brew Flour, seeds and sugar and mix well.
Gently add melted butter to the mix followed by the egg and combine well.
Stir in the buttermilk.
Add mixture to the pot and cover with lid. Place in the oven for 90mins.
Place on a rack to cool before serving.
