150g apple sauce
Juice from 1 lemon
Zest from 1 lemon
130g chopped dates
30g of Whole Fibre Grains
45g icing sugar
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Lemon zest to decorate
Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 degrees F / gas mark 4.
Mix apple sauce, lemon juice, zest, honey and dates together in a bowl.
Then combine the oats and Whole Fibre Grains into the mix.
Transfer mix into a baking tin and flatten mix.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
For the icing, combine the icing sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle the icing over the cooled flapjacks and add some lemon zest to serve. Enjoy!
