Lemon Drizzle Flapjacks

Ingredients :

  • 150g apple sauce

  • Juice from 1 lemon

  • Zest from 1 lemon

  • 170ml honey

  • 130g chopped dates

  • 300g oats

  • 30g of Whole Fibre Grains

  • 45g icing sugar

  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

  • Lemon zest to decorate

Method :

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 356 degrees F / gas mark 4.

  2. Mix apple sauce, lemon juice, zest, honey and dates together in a bowl.

  3. Then combine the oats and Whole Fibre Grains into the mix.

  4. Transfer mix into a baking tin and flatten mix.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.

  6. For the icing, combine the icing sugar and lemon juice. Drizzle the icing over the cooled flapjacks and add some lemon zest to serve. Enjoy!
