Air Fryer Chicken Strips


  • 2 chicken fillets, cut into long strips

  • 120ml buttermilk

  • 30g panko breadcrumbs

  • 40g plain flour

  • 20g Super Milled Grains

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp mixed dried herbs

  • pinch of salt and pepper

  • oil spray for cooking


  1. Soak chicken strips in buttermilk. Transfer bowl with chicken and buttermilk into fridge, leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. Add breadcrumbs, plain flour, Super Milled Grains, ginger, chilli flakes, paprika, dried herb mix, salt and pepper into another bowl.

  3. Remove chicken from the fridge. Take the chicken from the buttermilk and completely coat in the dry mixture.

  4. Once chicken strips are fully coated in the breadcrumb mix, pop the chicken strips into the air fryer.

  5. Preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes. Cook at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

  6. Spray the chicken with oil spray halfway through cooking to help with crispiness and colour.
